How much does shipment of purchased jewellery from your site cost?
We offer free shipping within Australia for all online orders. We use Australia Post, register and insure parcels. Your signature will be required upon delivery. International postage incurs a fee dependent on where in the world your custom made jewellery is to be sent.
Track my order – I placed an order some time ago and I still have not received my jewellery?
We commit to post your new jewellery within 48 working hours from the moment of purchase whether at our online jewellery shop or on the phone/via email from our jewellery store in Melbourne. In the past some parcels have sat in the destination post office awaiting a client signature, so please check with your local post office before you contact us.
I am not happy with the jewellery I received, can I get an exchange or refund?
If you are not happy with your purchase (and it is within 60 days from the time of purchase) contact us. We will be happy to exchange or refund your jewellery if it is unused and in perfect condition. However shipping and handling will be deducted in the event of refunding.
Does the jewellery that you sell come with any warranty?
Ixtlan Melbourne Jewellery store is proud of the quality of materials and workmanship in our exclusively designed jewellery. If there is a fault we will repair if possible, exchange if in stock and ultimately refund any of our jewellery within 6 month from day of purchase if there is a production fault in your piece.
The jewellery will need to be sent back to the jewellery shop in Melbourne for our experienced jeweller to assess the fault and decide on which course of action is appropriate.
My jewellery is damaged, not working how it should, or the stone is missing, can you help?
If possible we will be happy to repair your jewellery, re-set or replace precious or semi-precious gem or make a new piece for you. Please send your jewellery to Ixtlan Melbourne jewellery shop for our experienced jeweller to assess and quote on your repair.
Are all the pieces that you sell made by Ixtlan Melbourne jewellery shop?
No, about half of the pieces in our jewellery store in Melbourne are our own production, Paris sources the other pieces on his trips overseas. We carry a wide range of jewellery from many different countries, all brought directly to the shop from the manufacturers.
Is all the jewellery from Ixtlan Melbourne jewellery store featured on your web page?
No, we only have a small representation of our collections and pieces on our web site, due to the individuality and number of unique pieces that we carry we can’t list them all in our online jewellery shop.
We are happy to take individual images of jewellery or small collections and email them directly to you upon request.
Are all the stones in your jewellery natural gemstones?
Yes we only work with precious and semi-precious natural gems stones. We are proud to work with lots of unconventional stones, but only natural ones. Occasionally we have some pieces with Cubic Zirconias (simulated Diamonds) for a bit of bling (all of these are clearly marked).
Do you have chains or chokers for my new pendant?
Yes, we have a great selection of Sterling Silver chains, gold chains, chokers, omega chains, wire necklace as well as silk cords and alternative pieces to use with your pendant.

Do you have jewellery for men in your shop?
Yes we carry a small collection of men’s jewellery, chains, bracelets, cuff bracelets, men’s rings, studs and some pendants for men.

Is Ixtlan Melbourne Jewellery Shop associated with the shop in Byron Bay, NSW?
No, Paris, who did operate the shop in Byron Bay for the last 22 years, left that shop in November 2014. He is no longer involved in the running of the shop in Byron Bay nor is he responsible for the design or production of any of their pieces any longer.
Paris is now fronting of the new Ixtlan Melbourne jewellery store, joining the ranks of the Melbourne jewellers in Fitzroy’s old jewellery quarter amongst Gertrude Street’s boutique shops. Paris is continuing the long tradition of unique designer jewellery and custom made jewellery that he loves, please visit the shop in Gertrude Street, Fitzroy to admire the beauty of his work.
